The generation of suitable EC parameters is the major obstacle in an elliptic curve environment. Advanced mathematics seems to be required in order to obtain curve E and base point G which are not vulnerable to attacks on the discrete logarithm problem.

This demonstration will generate a random elliptic curve in characteristic 2 and determine the exact number of points on it using our new point counting software. Please enter the size of field with a prime number between 163 and 293.

Prime numbers between 163 and 293 are: 163, 167, 173, 179, 181, 191, 193, 197,199, 211, 223, 227, 229, 233, 241, 251, 257, 263, 269, 271, 277, 281, 283, 293.
